Our practice was established in 1978. The basic premise of the practice was “Patient First” and a work friendly environment. We have a track record of nearly 100% patient retention rate. Patient satisfaction has been outstanding as measured by Healthnet.com and other Internet agencies. Our nursing and secretarial team has shown dedication with employment longevity ranging from 7 to 33 years.
Dr. Lupovici is board certified and recertified in gastroenterology, internal medicinal and geriatrics. The bulk of the practice is geared toward gastroenterological disease of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel and colon. Hepatic disorders and bile duct diseases are treated as well as Hepatitis C and Hepatitis B infections. Upper endoscopy, colonoscopy both diagnostic and therapeutic are performed. We have been doing wireless capsule endoscopy since 2001. We were the first in this region to perform this small bowel endoscopic procedure. The practice accepts most of the major insurances. Wait time for appointments is less than 2 weeks on the average. We pride ourselves in keeping a wait time of 15 minutes or less from the time of the appointment to the time to actually see the physician. Medicare patients are accepted.
Some details regarding my background. I graduated NYU in 1969 and obtained a medical degree from Columbia P&S in New York as of 1973. Internship and residency and Gl fellowship were done at Roosevelt hospital, Yale affiliated hospital, and Brooklyn VA hospital. My hospital affiliation is with the University Medical Center at Princeton. I am married since 1978 to Dr. Doreen Babott, a hematologist and oncologist. One of our children is a lawyer and the other is becoming a doctor. Hobbies include long distance biking, long distance swimming, hiking, skiing and figure skating. I am a member of the Princeton Free wheelers since 2010.
